Together We Create
I've been producing new content here on the site since March this year and your response thus far has been very encouraging.
For a long time I was writing stuff that just didn't get engagement like I wanted.
Something was missing from my writing before. I wasn't getting to the heart of things and it bothered me.
There were no comments on the site, and there was very little feedback.
When feedback doesn't come you get a sense that you're going in the wrong direction so I decided to stop everything and reevaluate.
I had other sites like hardcorejunkie where I attempted to get to that core but I was split between the two.
Something had to give.
So I pulled the pin on everything while I tried to sort myself out.
In March this year the urge to write again had built up. So I began to rebuild this site and change direction to new content with a greater sense of integrity to it.
So far so good.
Some Of Your Responses
Some of the responses that you guys have sent me have been great, and although I keep saying we shouldn't create for applause, I still appreciate your feedback.
Feedback is important. Like it says in The Artist's Manifesto, generating positive response in others from our work is very much a part of the creative process.
Together We Create. Without feedback there's no creation.
We are constantly in exchange with the environment. When we breath, when we eat and defecate, when we are born and when we die.
It's one process and to keep our creative works from the world for the sake of flawed ideas, we deny others the joy of taking part in the process with us.
In fact we deny ourselves the joy of the entire process too.
So I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has enjoyed the content on the site here and for your continued support for my work.
Here's what some of you have been very kindly giving me back;

I am in ❤ with your words! I want to make thousands of copies and put them in every locker. Music playing in back like a John Hughes film. 😶

The creative process is certainly a cooperation between the two parties. The writer and the reader together create art.
I appreciate you all reading my stuff and value the time you take to do so because without you it's meaningless.
So I would like to offer you my sincere thanks.
