Reaction To The Artist's Manifesto
There's been a very positive reaction to The Artist's Manifesto released last week which is brilliant. I obviously want to reach people who feel the same as I do, but I'm careful not to get too hung up on reaction.
After all, if you've read The Artist's Manifesto yet you'll see that one of the principle tenets is that we create our stuff purely for the sake of it. Looking for applause is not part of the plan.
However, when it comes, it comes for the right reasons and that's exactly what we're looking for. The Artist's Manifesto is about delivering a message and the more people we can reach the better.

The Artist's Manifesto
The Artist's Manifesto is a short book about staying true to our art. It is a call to Artists and Creatives like you to create from the heart with passion and integrity, disregarding the need for applause and recognition. It's available from 13th May 2017. Grab your FREE copy here.
Here's what you missed on the blog this week
Posting content every day and making sure it has some kind of weight to it is difficult. But I aint complaining, I'm really enjoying the challenge.
Making a commitment and making it public is enough to get me in front of my laptop every day. I find that my mind is primarily focused on meeting my commitment and that's a good thing.
This week the theme continues down the vein of creativity, while also asking some or the deeper questions about what motivates us in this life.
Here, check this week's stuff out
Monday – The Secret To The Creative Process: It’s Simpler Than You Think
Tuesday – Self Identity: The Inner Conflict Of I Versus Me
Wednesday – Becoming An Expert: The Greatest Challenge To Creativity
Thursday – 3 Cornerstone Traits Of The Successful Full Time Writer
Friday – Do We Have Free Will?
Saturday – What Is The Key To Happiness?
Sunday – You're reading it 🙂
My greatest passion is to promote anti convention and creativity amongst my contemporaries and fellow creatives. To make stuff without boundaries.
I don’t know why, I just am, so I will.
If what I write strikes a chord with you then brilliant, please come back for more! Because despite what I say about not needing applause, I still value the company of people who are like me.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend whatever you're up to!
