As we discussed in the last two episodes of the podcast (Episodes 8 & 9), most AdWords accounts of service businesses feature the same mistakes. The fundamentals for products and services may be similar in the set up, but they are not entirely the same and that’s why so many are getting it wrong.
Products are not the same as services and people search for them differently. There is a different psychology at work on the part of the searcher and you need to know what that is.
When you tap into this psychology you begin to see from the user’s perspective and only then can you build an AdWords campaign that meets their needs.
AdWords Training Video 1 & 2
In videos 1 & 2 we will be looking at how to structure your campaigns correctly, lesser known settings like the advanced geo location settings, keyword selection and advert creation, and bid strategy.
Many of the reasons you might be struggling with conversions is the quality of advert copy so after we cover the campaign structure we’ll get into how best to structure your advert.
This will be more copywriting and psychology rather than geeky AdWords technical stuff, although we never really get away from that entirely. With the right AdWords copy you will have a much better opportunity to convert those who find your advert.

In videos 3 & 4 we will be looking at what happens after someone clicks your advert. This is another often overlooked part of the AdWords jigsaw puzzle. Most advertisers believe that all you need to do is send someone to a homepage….
We’ll show you what your page needs to look like and how best to build one that will convert your visitors. At the end of the day, they need a solution so you need to make it as easy for them as possible to get that solution.
If you make it difficult for people to contact you then you will lose the sale. Every time someone hits the back button because they can’t figure out if you are right for them, you lose money.
