You’ve likely noticed some changes around here of late…
If you are a regular reader it’s been hard to miss it really. At the risk of disappointing some I’ve decided to change things and serve those I can serve best.
Let me fill you in…
The thing is, this site has changed quite a bit since I launched it around October 2014 and I felt all along I was improving my offering to you guys but something was missing. It seemed I wasn’t following my own advice.
I wasn’t writing for the people who I could serve best. My focus was not refined and I found I was jumping from topic to topic without a clear content strategy.
Earlier, in the summer of 2014 I had another entirely different concept The Millionaire Tradesman which was a place where tradesmen and service business owners could learn how to do better business.
But not long after launching that site I parked all activity as the content was a little too sharp and abrasive so I decided to leave it lie until I could make it better.
Solutions For Service Business Owners
Anyway, long story short I’ve managed to refine that original concept, pivot, and go back in the direction of my original target. There is a new brand too – “The Prosperous Tradesman“, I think it has a good ring to it.
What you reckon?
There won’t be a total disconnect from what I’ve written before, it’s merely that I will be framing a lot of the content differently and throwing in the odd bit of colourful language here and there to spice it up.
As such I’ll show a little more authenticity and less censorship.
You see I’ve realised that the people I can assist best are those service business owners and sole tradesmen, the people who screw in the screws and fix the broken stuff in the world.
So that’s who I’ll be building content and learning material for from here on.
You see I know service related business and the people who run them best, after all, 25+ years in the game I’m bound to have picked up a few things of value.
